AFTER WE VOTE
Leo Smith founded After the Elections as a democracy lab for civic action in-between voting cycles. Following a successful crowd sourced effort to make democracy the winner of the 2020 elections called Eleven Three, an After We Vote club was developed on the social audio app Clubhouse. After We Vote, AWV, is a cross-partisan, cross-racial think and do-tank to create resilience in American democracy.
As a politics club over 11,000 strong, AWV nurtures and moderates civil dialogues across often uncivil differences. Referred to as “rooms,” the curated dialogues range from policy discussions with expert panelists, to cross-partisan white boards and calls to actions to creating solutions for U.S. democracy through better politics.
After We Vote is a Democracy Tool for a better America. We are renewing hope for a stronger democratic republic with pro-democracy, cross-partisan, cross-racial engagement.
